Anamnese: translating a technical business into banking language.

Anamnese has secured €360,000 in additional funding from Bpifrance and BNP Paribas, following a €600,000 fundraising round in early 2025. Founded by Jérôme Bourreau, the company develops software for the medical sector and acts as an AI partner for the digitalization of care pathways.

The context

Jérôme Bourreau founded Anamnese in 2017 to develop software for the medical sector. In early 2025, the company closed a €600,000 funding round. To supplement this, the founder sought an additional €400,000 in non-dilutive financing.

However, the bank and Bpifrance financing faced significant delays. Absorbed by managing the company, Jérôme Bourreau did not have the time to handle it, and several months passed—nearly a year after the fundraising. Yet, a loan application is much stronger immediately after a funding round, when equity has just been bolstered; this delay needed to be addressed.

The challenge

  • Managing operations, with all their urgent demands and unforeseen challenges, while simultaneously structuring a strategy for banks.
  • Knowing where to start: what documents to produce, which strategy to choose from the available options, and what goal to target.
  • Finding the right pitch for lenders: a clear, accessible explanation of a technical business, far removed from everyday jargon.

Our approach

Super Capital structured the process and then presented the case to the lenders. The method starts with the founder: understanding their business and objectives, proposing a path to bridge the two, validating it with them, and then approaching the banks.

The journey was not linear. When an unforeseen issue slowed down the process, the team went to Anamnese's offices and handled the questions one by one to lighten an already heavy workload.

The process

  1. Defining the project: objectives, chosen financing strategy, and the list of documents to produce.
  2. Securing approval from Bpifrance, finalized in two months.
  3. Presenting the file to BNP Paribas, which gave its approval in two weeks once the Bpifrance funding was confirmed.

The result

Anamnese secured €350,000 of the targeted €400,000, equivalent to nearly 60% of the amount raised in equity. In total, the company has raised €950,000 between equity and non-dilutive financing.

Client testimonial

"If I hadn't been supported, I think I would have given up." Jérôme Bourreau believes he would not have pursued the loan, a decision that would have been detrimental in terms of opportunities and risky for the company.

"If I learned one thing, it's that you should apply for a loan right after a fundraising round."

His three words to summarize the mission: support, simplification, and patience. "It's worth doing."

What's next

Anamnese continues its development with funding that complements its early 2025 capital raise.
